She is a Registered and Licensed Dietitian and Nutritionist (RDN) who specializes in weight management of all ages, including pregnancy.
Sarah has a minor in FoodService management since most of her teen and college years were in nursing home, summer camp and country club kitchens, where she whipped up gourmet and “most-of-the-time” nutritious meals for others. This led to business as a personal chef while working clinical and community jobs. Sarah is a consultant for a variety of nutrition venues. Sarah reviews recipes for corporate, private and facility venues. She provides corporate wellness seminars and speaking engagements of any current nutrition topic. She also contracts with Healthy Start through a grant in Pinellas County, completing home assessments with pregnant women and children from birth to age 3.
Sarah was a Spokesperson for the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (formerly the American Dietetic Association) from 2007-2016 and has represented 76K RDNs world-wide based on evidence-based nutrition science. Sarah’s passions are obesity in the under 18 crowd, food safety, translating medical diagnoses into meal and encouraging everyone to enjoy meals.
Sarah also has traveled around the world and is savvy in a variety of food cultures, traditions and recipes. Her very practical approach to nutritional guidance is goal-oriented instead of calorie-oriented. Enjoying food, raising a family and being healthy are Sarah’s passions and can be yours too.
